London, one of the world’s most exciting and vibrant capital cities, also has one of the highest number of hotels in any city in the world. The number of bedrooms is expected to grow by 12% by the start of the London Olympics in 2012. This takes the number of rooms available to over 123,000. With such a large number of guests in our capital city it is paramount that the support services and hotels work together to ensure the safest stay for all guests.
Working in partnership and staying safe
During the next 12 months London will be focusing on creating the safest and most exciting venue for the Olympics and Para Olympics. The Metropolitan Police will be working closely with Hotelwatch to provide daily security information to ensure that London hoteliers are informed immediately of any situation which could affect visitors, employees and, of course the public.
